Last summer the Wherry Yacht Charter Trust sent the 56ft pleasure wherry Hathor on a ‘Farewell’ cruise around the Norfolk Broads before she was taken out of the water for a four year rebuild at Wroxham.
The Trust also owns the wherry yachts 53ft Norada and the 56ft Olive which are laid up afloat in a tent boathouse at Barton House, Wroxham. Some work has been done on the Norada and she is back in the water, but the interior has to be refitted. The Olive sank in the river on the way back from Wroxham Broad in 2005 and was waiting for the slipway to be repaired before she could be hauled out and restored.
