The two-day, 170-mile delivery from the Port of Coeymans near Albany, New York of a new 130-foot high steam generator for a New Jersey powerplant was the tallest, heaviest object ever moved on the Hudson.

Air draft challenges included the Mid-Hudson and Newburgh-Beacon bridges, the Arthur Kill Vertical Lift Bridge and new Goethals Bridge between New Jersey and Staten Island, all with clearances of 135 feet.
