I was very taken with this study from July of a busy scene at Warrenpoint with the Dutchman Lara 3954,’98 in from La Pallice with grain and Willie of Cardiff’s Celtic King 4015,’99 from Riga with timber.
No ‘classic lines’ here. There is something remarkably frill-less about what can be described as a typical pair of, in today’s terms, relatively small modern hulls. But they are attractive too in their very functional way.
