The first of the magenta-coloured container ships of the Ocean Network Express (ONE) entered service in May.
The ONE Commitment is operated on THE Alliance’s PN2 service between Asia and the US Pacific Northwest.
After being repainted, the ONE Commitment sailed from Singapore on May 15 and called at Laem Chaban, Cai Mep and Kaohsiung before arriving at the international container terminal at Yantian, in China, to complete loading. The ship then headed across the Pacific to Tacoma and Vancouver and on returning to Asia, she called at Yokohama, Kobe, Kaohsiung and Singapore.
ONE is a joint venture of the Japanese companies Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line), Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) Line.
