Whilst on holiday in Malta recently, my wife and I came across this shipwreck near to the Island’s Aquarium.
I thought it might be of some interest to readers and perhaps someone might be able to cast some light on what actually happened to her. According to local fishermen, she discharged her cargo in Valletta. The crew, not being paid for months, took control of her. Her prop became entangled in fish-farm wires in St Pauls Bay and, as a result, ran onto the rocks.
Apparently, she has been there now for over two months. There are no flags visible. Looking at her name and registry port, I think she may be Greek.
I have been a keen reader of Sea Breezes for many years, ashore now for a good few years, I still miss the life.
