I read, with interest, the Peter Willis article; ‘John Holt to the Guinea Gulf Line in the September 2016 issue of Sea Breezes.
I think it is worth recording that, during 1963, when T&J Brocklebank took over the management of the Florence Holt and Elizabeth Holt, and inter-change of ships took place between both of these companies.
Whereby the Elizabeth Holt, in the traditional livery of Brocklebanks, completed one round voyage on the Indian berth, the Brocklebank cargo ship Maskeliya, without change of livery, completed one round voyage on the Guinea Gulf Line service to the West Coast of Africa.
