I drove through Leith Docks recently and saw the SS Arc Gloria berthed in the Western Extension.
The local newspaper stated that she was one of the largest tall ships in the world, although I thought there were others that were bigger. Anyway, the ship had left in June from her home port of Catagena. She has sailed to Portugal, Germany, Holland, and from here sailing to London, Spain, Portugal (again), and the Dominican Republic.
As you can see from the enclosed photo, the flag was huge!
