WITH REGARDS TO page 52 of the November 2012 issue of Sea Breezes, here is a view of the Hawkcraig,
75grt, 1958, taken at Burntisland on 30 July 1989. It is not a very good photograph as I was hampered by all the background clutter, I only took it to record the sighting. It is, however, almost the same angle as the shot published in ‘Tugs & Tows’. Incidentally, as readers will probably know, Cromarty is a splendid place to photograph a large ship pass underway.
