In February’s ‘Message from the Bridge’, I mentioned our pledge as the guardians of Sea Breezes to maintain the traditions of the magazine. In this issue you will find we have made some changes to the layout and style of the magazine. They have been made with the purpose of enhancing the contents and I hope you will, as readers, get as much enjoyment out of the changes as we have had in implementing them.
Our next issue is our 1,000th issue in magazine form, since 1919 (let all your friends know). We believe however that Sea Breezes continued in newspaper column form (once a week) during the dark days of World War II. We are searching for examples from the wartime years and hope to bring news of that at some future date.
In the meantime keep well. All good wishes,
Captain Andrew C. Douglas (Editor)
